David Lavecky is CEO & Co-Founder of CANVAS, a company that builds confidentiality focused Layer 2 infrastructure for finance. David has over 20 years of experience as a fintech entrepreneur & investor.
Prior to founding CANVAS, David and his brother Daniel started Pure Commerce, one of the first payment gateways in Australia. They grew the company internationally and successfully sold it to Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT) in 2013, making it the largest fintech sale in Australia at that time. David holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Sydney.
