Ariel Gabizon is a researcher and engineer focused on pairing-based SNARKs. He contributed to the first real-life deployment of zk-SNARKs while working at Zcash; and since then has contributed to other projects using SNARKs like Celo, Filecoin, and Aztec. He is best known for discovering the Zcash infinite counterfeiting vulnerability and coinventing PlonK.
